Anna Maria Sacconi was born in Rome on 2 November 1948. She was awarded a degree in Architecture in Rome in 1974, although she had already been planning and building public works since 1967 (Studio Fuksas and Sacconi, Associates).
Since 1990, she has adopted the paradox of invisibility as an area for experimentation, and worked with a variety of objects, beginning with utensils.
Today, her work focuses on the constructive possibilities of colour and is published in books and international magazines.
