Seamus Staunton
Bristol based artist, Seamus Staunton, studied at Canterbury College of Art and Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design, London. He has exhibited widely throughout the UK and Europe, and has received several prestigious awards including the Crest-Nicholson Sculpture prize and the Tallinn International Sculpture prize. He has created public works for Bristol City Council, and South Gloucestershire Council. He recently completed a permanent installation at Princess Beatrice House, Earl’s Court for Look Ahead Housing Association, and is currently working on a commission for Cardiff Bay. His work is represented in a number of public collections including the Institute for Child Health, Bretagne Eurosculpture and the University College for the Creative Arts.
